Today we talk about really cool game on my favorite (for now) PSP. Those who read the title, know that this is, of course, Sonic Rivals.
When Playstation was still "in the project" we already been playing games about Sonic - on the Sega Genesis. Then I also "stuck" at that time, especially from the third part of the «Sonic the Hedhog III» (I think that's called the one toy). And that is why I am particularly pleased that over time, "Supersonic" hedgehog is not forgotten and lost, but happily adapting to a new generation of game consoles. When I installed and tried the first time to play in Sonic Rivals, the first thing that struck me - high dynamics of the game. The aim of this part is that there must not only pass, get to the end of each level, but at the same time ... beat rival! Yes! In each level you're facing some opponent (at each level is different), with whom you compete, who was the first run so far before the finish level. Thus, the game becomes partly race! Levels of design are the same - the same bright vegetation, quaint reliefs, "bungee", enemy robots animals. But all this must take place at the maximum speed to take at the end of the first place. From this play, in my opinion, more interesting. And dynamic! In some places, the speed of our "runners" up to a really unprecedented heights, so that it becomes difficult to keep up to monitor what is happening on the screen. In a game there, of course, bosses are usually huge robotic mechanisms, the generation of evil scientist Dr. Eggman. But, curiously, these bosses also need the speed to win. If your opponent will cause a certain amount of time the boss more hits than you, then, despite the defeat the main enemy, it is assumed that you are lost and have to replay the level! Separate pleasure in the fact that compete in the speed of the game is not necessarily fair. If you run close to the opponent, are not forbidden to do it "tripped" or blow knock, so that he slipped and fell, losing a few seconds. Same effect can be achieved by picking some "bonuses" - and shoot at the opponent's homing clot of energy to freeze time or another in every possible way to slow down. However, all these ways are like "double-edged blade." They can use both party's path. Graphics in the game is juicy, bright, happy eyes. Quite a beautiful three-dimensionality. However the move is always possible only in two-dimensional space.
