Batman & Robin for Sega

Recently I found myself in a position where it was necessary to wait (to be precise - to washing machine to have finished), and had nothing to do.

Often, when I got nothing to do, and have fun hunting, I was "rescued" by my little PSP. This time was not exception. I turn on my Sony and thought - what to play? At the memory card that was inserted, were downloaded only two emulators. For Sega and for Dendy. And, of course, a few games for that consoles.

It pulled me, then, to play sega's version of "Adventures of Batman and Robin". And I'm almost amazed. As far as this game is good, even though it's "age" (by game standards, rather big). "I will write about it in my blog, the game deserve it" - I thought. And now, in fact, I do it.

So this game os cool. What I like about it in the first place - the dynamics. You can manage either Batman or Robin. Although they differ only costumes. But I still often choose just Batman. Probably because he is "more important", cooler, and in general. Steeper. He is the Master. And Robin is just a journeyman. He was only in one part of the film. But then again ignominiously sunk. But I digress. The main character - an unusually nimble, agile and fast. What a pleasure! He can attack in two ways. Or throw something like a star or boomerangs. Either hand to hand. Then Batman would handicap the best kickboxers. So beautiful, he alternate punches and kicks. Enemies in the game rod from all sides and in large quantities. Well, it's normal for games of this kind. "Fighting for passing" - so my friends and I called them (separating, Thus, from their just fights - such as Street Fighter, MK, etc.). In several levels of need in two-dimensional space to run from left to right, passing arranging battle is with numerous foe. However, in some levels is not the case. For example, there is a stage where you want to climb up on a huge construction elevator. There is a level where you want to fly on a plane stylish Batman, shooting enemy squadron (here the game becomes a real vertical-scrolling shooter!). So the game is rather various. The creators have tried their best! At the end of each level, we expect impressive "bosses". In full accordance with the laws of the genre, superheroes confront supervillains. This joker, mad Hatter, some more two-faces peasant mad of of pyrotechnics and a kind of "Santa Claus" (it was me so he called it, as he really is, I do not remember - freezer maybe?). Levels in the game a lot, and passing them is not very easy. And what is more - so even more difficult. There are levels that I have no codes at all could not pass. Seen that the game is expected for hardcore players. Although kasuals like to take one or two levels (for more of them, probably not enough:) too. I do not want to forget about another plus of this game. Musical accompaniment! Very original style. I do not know what it's called, but is associated with something "acid" mixed with death-metal. Very, very impressive. At the special effects the game is not too stingy. Explosions, flashes, etc. - All this quite a lot. I especially remember the effect when the first level of the building blows up the bank and fly across the screen notes. Cool:)
